Account data: your name, email address, password (stored hashed), and, if you sell, your shop details.

Order and shipping data: items ordered, billing and shipping address, and order history needed to complete and support your purchases.

Payment data: payments are handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We receive limited confirmation data and never store full card numbers on our servers.

Usage and device data: pages viewed, searches, IP address, and device/browser information, collected to keep the marketplace secure and to improve it.

To perform our contract with you: creating your account, processing and delivering orders, handling returns and refunds, and providing support.

For our legitimate interests: securing the Platform, preventing fraud, and improving our services, balanced against your rights.

To comply with legal obligations: tax, accounting, and record-keeping requirements.

With your consent: optional marketing emails, which you can withdraw at any time. We do not sell your personal information.

Independent Sellers: to fulfil an order, we share the information needed to ship it: your name and shipping address. Sellers act as independent suppliers to Alternae LLC and may use this information only to fulfil and support your order.

Service providers: our payment processor (Stripe), hosting, email delivery, and analytics providers, acting on our instructions.

Legal and safety: authorities or third parties where required by law, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

Alternae LLC is based in the United States, so your information may be processed in the U.S. and other countries. Where we transfer personal data from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, then for the period required to meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymized.
